Whatsapp Started Testing Coloured Text Status

Whatsapp is coming up with lots of latest updates recently. They changed a lot of features like video and image status updates and removed the limits of groups etc. Right now they started to test another feature called colourful text status.

Recently Facebook started the coloured text status and WhatsApp is now testing this feature. Right now the WhatsApp beta version has this WhatsApp coloured text status feature for testing purpose.

Beta version 2.17.291 has this feature reports by Android Police. The new coloured text status will be available on top of the camera button. That is when we create new status there will be a pencil button for creating new coloured text.

The new status available in this latest beta version but only few user could able to enjoy this. We can hope that it will soon to be available for all via the General version of the WhatsApp.

Indian messaging app Hike already has this feature all user can send status updates via coloured text with various backgrounds.

To know the difference we have to wait till it comes for all beta users or to General. Right now my WhatsApp is beta version 2.17.293 but still, I didn’t have this coloured text feature in my WhatsApp.
So from this, we can know that only few user had access to this WhatsApp coloured text status update.
