Early the Aadhar linking with Mobile Number was a hectic Process. The user had to go to customer care to link the Aadhar with Mobile Number.
Now the Telecom Operators are offering a Toll-Free Number which user can call and give their Aadhar Number to link with that number.
The Procedure officially introduced via the Digital India Twitter Account,

The service is offered via UIDAI ( Unique Identification Authority of India) the issuer of Unique Aadhar Number. They provide the directives for generating OTP two ways, either via service providers website or via Interactive Voice Response Service ( IVR).
How Does it Work?
Like I said now we can link our Mobile Number with Aadhar sitting at home.
The Toll- Free Helpline Number is 14546 when you call the IVR system will answer the call and ask you whether you are an Indian citizen or NRI, after giving the details you can give the 12 Digit Unique Aadhar Number for re-verification.
Then again need to enter the number after pressing the verify button. The OTP will be sent to the registered number in which Aadhar was taken.
Then the IVR asks the caller to give consent to pic his ID and Photo to the Telecom Operator from the UIDAI database.
On the Next step caller need to type the OTP. after confirming the Aadhar verification process will be done successfully.
So far many telecom operators activated this service. The Last date for linking Aadhar with the mobile number is March 31, 2018.
